If you managed to find the Pottermore Magical Quill at the beginning of the month, this next bit of news is for you. Pottermore has announced that the first round of “early access” emails has gone out to players and that more messages will be going out over the coming weeks. Instead of letting everyone in at once, they are going to “stagger” entry to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
Once you get your message, jump on in and start testing things out. If you have any questions, complaints, or suggestions, just click on the “BETA Feedback” button that can be found on every page inside Pottermore. Your feedback could help the developers shape the site! Also, be prepared to fill out a survey on your experience to give them even more information.
If you weren’t able to get signed up to be a Beta-Tester, don’t worry. Pottermore will be open to all players, for free, beginning in October. Just stay tuned to Pottermore Insider for all of the latest details!

I was wondering, you guys haven’t released the order of which you are sending out batches of emails. Is it randomly or first comes first?
Also, I joined on the second day and hope to be receiving the email before Thursday next week. When school starts.
I hope not! I was practically the last person to sign up. Literally. I signed up on the last day in the last few moments the site was open.
I meant I got into the beta on the second day.
I am from the U.S. an stayed up ’til 3 a.m. to sign up for Pottermore. I am registered for early entry and have received that email (to be a beta tester). However I am very disapointed because I haven’t got the last email yet. I am a HUGE fan and have now lost all confidence and faith. This upsets me very much.
Dani, You shouldn’t loose all faith, your email will come just be patient. They did warn us it would take a few weeks to receive it.

I, too, busted my butt trying to get online to find the elusive feather. Now, it is almost October and I still hv not received my welcome letter. Why did I even bother to try and get in before that time?

You can register on October. Only us, Beta Testers can get in early. We got in early because we participated on the Magical Quill Challenge. If you are a Beta Tester, I guess you’ll receive your e-mail in a couple days. Mine hasn’t arrived yet, SO IM JUST WAITING! =)

You can’t become a Beta tester anymore. Sorry. But the challenge you get to participate in to become one is over. You can join the site in October. That is when everyone will be able to join.

No. I just found this out from a HP FB page. I wish I knew which one Emma will be Sorted into…I think Ravenclaw.
That wasn’t actually on Pottermore unfortunately. As far as anyone knows, the cast might not have made accounts. That video on the HP FB is one from the iPod app that automatically sorts you without asking questions.
No, it wasn’t the official HP page, it was from a fan-made one. I think Tom’s, the twins’ and Rupert’s may have been rumours (some people are saying that, others aren’t) but Evanna Lynch’s definitely is.
Yeah, i think the houses the twins and Tom Felton where sorted into are rumors… Only because i would have been sure that Tom would have posted it on Twitter, or confirmed it to his fans. The same with the twins, but i do know Evanna confirmed her being in Gryfindor and Scarlett who played Pansy Parkinson confirmed her being sorted into Slytherin!

I’m so happy I was selected as one of the “lucky few” to enter pottermore early over a month ago..now if they will actually grant me access sometime within the next two weeks I might actually get early access as promised.

Im a pottermore beta tester but when I got to ollivanders on the third question the banners went one under the other and the ‘next question’ button went under the bottom of the page so I cant carry on
